From now on, I put them on and I want them everywhere. When I saw this recipe in the book “200 recipes like in New York”, it was impossible to resist the temptation.

Why do you have to drink smoothies during your detox?

Smoothies are a great way to consume fruits and vegetables at the same time. While it is quite easy to integrate fruits into your daily diet, vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and minerals, are sometimes more restrictive because they require more preparation. Smoothie is therefore an excellent way to consume them raw (and therefore rich in intakes). Moreover, unlike a juice extractor, smoothies are made up of all the elements of the fruits and vegetables that make up them. One them is the cucumber, an excellent plant from a nutritional and caloric point of view. From the same family as melon or squash, it is eaten as a vegetable while its nature is that of a fruit.

Its most antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer nutrients are found in the skin and seeds. Therefore, use organic cucumbers, so that you can eat them all after washing them thoroughly of course. And there are the following five good reasons to eat it:

Cucumbers are consisted of 95% water. Drink it regularly, especially in the summer, so you can hydrate and nourish your body properly and naturally. – 1 cucumber-1 lemon-10 mint leaves (approx.) – ice cubes – water-cane sugar

Cucumber Smoothie preparation

1. Peel the cucumber skin and cut it into pieces. Squeeze the lemon.

2. In a blender, mix the cucumber + lemon juice + mint leaves + ice. The mixture must be smooth.

4. Pour half of the preparation into each glass and taste it without further delay ! If the smoothie is too thick, you can add some water. If it is not sweet enough, add cane sugar 😉
